My most popular post ever is Getting Kids to Help With the Chores. After publishing it, readers flocked over to see what I’d written. Had I discovered the secret to having helpful and considerate children?
Some readers were very skeptical when they read my words: “That sounds too easy!” But sometimes the easy sounding things don’t turn out to be so easy after all. And sometimes we are called to do the difficult things of life.
Have you read my post? If you have, you could always watch my new video on the same subject. It’s only a couple of minutes long, and it contains a beautiful piece of music. I hope you’ll watch!

Sometimes it’s good to share a book with a sister!
Sophie and Gemma-Rose are reading my children’s novel, The Angels of Abbey Creek.
Loved this Sue and very timely for me as I have found that I am doing too much without enough help, and I need to help them more too 🙂 xxoo
Meredith,
Thank you for watching and also for sharing the link. I do appreciate it. Lovely to chat with you on FB earlier!
I was impressed by the video, Sue – the look of it as well as the message. It made me think about how I respond to these questions. xx
Vicky,
Powtoon is an impressive tool. It's easy to use though it took me rather a long time to make the video because I kept adjusting it. Never satisfied! I'm glad starting the video with a question was effective. Thank you for watching!
Having read your original post, this was old news 🙂 But we nwwd to be told every now and then. I loved the music. Thanks for the reminder.
Uglemor,
I needed the reminder too. Yes, the music is beautiful. I have some more music by the same composer which I'm hoping to use in another video. Thank you for watching!
Love the video, music, and especially the message! I've the original post so this one is a good reminder. 🙂 Often, the simplest yet most difficult task is to start being the example of what we expect our children to become. I know I'm guilty of this all too often! Thanks for the timely reminder. 🙂
Hwee,
Maybe we just have to make a start, as you suggested. New habits will develop in time. Perhaps it doesn't really matter if we fail sometimes as long as we keep trying. Thank you for your encouraging comment!
Fantastic video! You are really rocking all that learning!
I need to say yes more often
San xx
San,
Thank you! I discovered Powtoon and of course, I had to try it out and make a video. It was kind of you to watch!
