I say to my daughter Imogen, “I’d better post the details of our last podcast on my blog.”
And she replies, “You haven’t done that yet? How will we become podcasting stars if you don’t let anyone know we’ve published a new episode?”
Podcasting stars? That sounds so unlike us. We grin!
I love chatting to Imogen while we’re making podcasts together. We hope you enjoy listening!
In episode 183 of the Stories of an Unschooling Family podcast, Big Ideas and Big Passions, Imogen and I are talking about:
- Writing: the definition of a story, what to write about, how we use our own experiences in stories
- Superhero movies: the big ideas contained in seemingly trivial stories
- Behind-the scenes documentaries
- Rock climbing and glass blowing: creativity, and the lengths (or heights!) some people will go to follow their passions
We’re also telling lots of stories.

Thank you for listening to this episode!
I enjoyed the Neil Gaiman and Margaret Atwood masterclasses, so I’ll definitely check your podcast out. Thanks for sharing!
Stuart,
There are a lot of interesting classes on Masterclass, aren’t there? Have you completed any other writing classes? I’ve got lots on my list but don’t know which one to do next. So many choices!
Always love to hear you guys talking about writing. Intrigued to hear where the climbing comes in as my daughter’s an avid climber. So far, she’s got both sisters and her dad in on the action – my turn this year, it’s on my list of adventures! As always, looking forward to listening 🙂
Hayley,
I love watching documentaries about rock climbing but haven’t actually tried it. Where does your family climb? Are there lots of suitable places close to where you live?
I hope you enjoy listening to this episode. Thank you so much for stopping by!
